Fulani braid designs

In modern usage, Fulani braids combine cornrows at the front or top with braided lengths worn loose. Some versions also have individual braids at the back. A central braid, face-framing side braids and beads are common details, rather than a fixed formula. Hearts, updos and boho finishes are modern interpretations.
